Day 127

“Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.” (Proverbs 14:29 ESV)

Ah! It’s Proverbs again. What’s up, David, no inspiration?

I was thinking of choosing a line from tonight’s Gospel of John. Jesus had a lot to say about the relationship between his Father and himself, the Son. It is intended as a spiritual relationship and it’s Jesus’ justifications for doing and saying the things he did. Especially regarding healing the sick on the Sabbath.

But it could also be read another way. And as someone who finds generational relationships incredibly difficult, this passage certainly spoke to me.

Isn’t this why I’m here? To relate how the verses set for a specific day are significant to me? Yes it is, but…

There has to be a line. And despite the fact that what Jesus said could be interpreted as being relevant to me, I decided not to write about it.

So Proverbs again.

Can’t go wrong with a Proverb. Especially one as great as this. This one could be a T shirt design.
