“The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.” (Psalms 18:2 NLT)
I am feeling the need for protection and strength. For the next few days I will be praying to The Lord to send me messages of hope.
I am being tested by unbelievers around me. They are much cleverer than I am, and more powerful. I feel trapped and threatened.
But as a great philosopher once said (!): People can only make you feel bad if you let them.
That pearl should be a Proverb. It’s actually a line from “Princess Diaries”. But I love the sentiment.
Bullies rely on a victim’s inner insecurity. And I am finding comfort in the Bible. God is speaking to me today. And I think Him for that.
