Day 214

“See how many enemies I have and how viciously they hate me! Protect me! Rescue my life from them! Do not let me be disgraced, for in you I take refuge. May integrity and honesty protect me, for I put my hope in you.” (‭Psalms‬ ‭25‬:‭19-21‬ NLT)

My thoughts turn more frequently to the troubles in Gaza and to the persecuted Christians in Iraq.

There are other places in the world where the lust for war has taken hold and the innocent suffer.

But Gaza and Iraq are at the top of my mind. The verses I chose today are a prayer for help from those who are being attacked.

Dedicated to Palestinians and Iraqi Christians. Dear Lord, they are putting their hope in you. Amen
