“For the LORD has told me this: “I will watch quietly from my dwelling place— as quietly as the heat rises on a summer day, or as the morning dew forms during the harvest.”” (Isaiah 18:4 NLT)
The past few days I have simply chosen one verse and posted that. The interpretation and significance I have left to you.
But today I am moved to add some notes.
A meteorologist would tell you that summer’s heat haze is caused by the convection currents moving the air and causing the light to be very slightly deflected.
Yada Yada Yada…
What if it is a sign! A sign that God is everywhere and everything. That our very DNA is written. That the author of our life story is here with us.
I have read Isaiah before and found the tone and urgency of this book to be very refreshing.
Living God, you are with us today and every day. Give us strength to endure our pains and troubles. Show us a sign that you know our weakness and that by living through our dark times, we can gain confidence.
